During the weekly drill, ironically reviewing equipment required for Rapid Intervention Team (RIT) responses, Media Fire Company was dispatched to 194 Kirk Road, Concordville, as the RIT for a residential fire at an unoccupied dwelling. Upon arrival, company 23 quickly went into service, setting up ladders for fire fighters performing interior operations and preparing the relevant equipment for potential use. Company 59 had already knocked a large amount of the fire down when Snorkel 23 arrived and a few members from Media were put to work during overhaul operations. Good work by all companies.
