The Media Fire Companys Paramedic Bike Team went in-service for the first time on Sunday April 25 2004 at the Media Borough Super Sunday Event on State Street. The bike team was started to provide a quick method of access to ill or injured patients attending special events in Media Borough and surrounding communities. The team of two consists of one Paramedic and one EMT carrying a full range of ALSBLS equipment including a cardiac monitor airwayintubation kit IV and Medication supplies.
